Enjoy a meal in the dining center or treat your guests at one or our retail locations on campus! While guest meals can always be purchased with cash, Dining Dollars and ID charge at all dining outlets on campus (our retail locations also accept credit cards) a university account may also be used to purchase guest meals.*
FOR GROUPS OF LESS THAN 25 AND FUNDED BY A UNIVERSITY ACCOUNT
The preferred method for purchasing guest meals with a university account is to use the Department of Residence Departmental Charge Form
(this form can also be found in UNI's Forms Repository). The department requesting the meals should fill out the form and take the signed and approved for purchase form to the specified dining or retail location to complete the purchase. Physical meal cards are not necessary.
FOR GROUPS OF 25 OR LARGER OR OFF-CAMPUS GROUPS
Order meal cards to be picked up at the Department of Residence Office in Redeker Center. Cards can be requested for a meal in the dining center or can be loaded with a set number of Dining Dollars to be used at one of our retail locations. Such requests can be billed to a university account or paid using cash, check or credit card. Payment is due upon receipt of cards. Any unused cards can be returned on the day of the event for credit and must be clearly labeled with event name and date.
To place an order
1. Log in to your account. If you have not previously set up an account, create one. Note that the same login is used for CateringMadeEasy and to order dining cards.
2. Click the link in the Event Date box in the left column to add event, date, time and guest count.
3. Choose which cards to order in the Browse Menus section in the left column. Make special notes in the text boxes as needed.
4. Once your order is complete, proceed to checkout to complete billing information and submit order. You will receive a confirmation email as well as a follow up email when your cards are ready for pick up.
Groups are able to reserve one of our meeting spaces in Piazza. The Century Room can accommodate up to 30 guests and the Regency Room holds up to 14 guests. Call 319-273-2333 to check availability and make room reservations.
*Meals funded by the university are to be used for the stated business purpose. The general policy of the university is to prohibit the use of budgeted funds to provide food to campus guests, visitors, staff members or students except under certain described and carefully controlled circumstances. Refer to University Policy 9.43 Reimbursable Expense and/or University Policy 13.07 Entertainment of University Guests for information pertaining to meal expenses.
